This position is accountable for the operation, personnel supervision, and the service to customers as assigned.

Essential Functions

Manage and schedule equipment to ensure alignment with company standards
Partner with terminal manager to plan and carry out shipping operations
Provide frontline customer service for internal and external customers
Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with the company's safety programs and objectives
Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, vendors and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Administrative support
On-call duties as needed

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
